Time Needed to Complete a Course*:

• As a general guideline, students should plan on approximately one hour of work a day, five days a week for each of their courses.
• In addition to the time spent online, students need additional time to complete assignments and study for tests and exams. Students in early elementary grades (K–2) spend only a small percentage of their time at the computer, with a gradual increase in time online as they progress through grades 3–6.
• Half-credit courses generally take half as much time as full-credit courses.
